Concussion Law
Starting April 26th, 2013, individuals are not permitted to serve as coaches or referees for youth sports programs whether volunteer or paid unless they have completed an online training program in recognizing the signs and symptoms of concussions and head injuries provided by the Ohio Department of Health or hold a (PAP) Pupil Activity Permit from the Ohio Department of Education.
The Louisville Soccer Club requires all coaches, assistant coaches, and referees to have a current certificate of completion of the concussion training aforementioned or PAP.
